COVID-19 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How will staff and students be kept safe?
Monart has implemented the following procedures in order to ensure optimal safety:
• Adhering to the following guidelines for summer camps and child care facilities:
  State of California Department of Public Health
  U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
• Health screening and contactless temperature taking of all staff entering our studio.
• Health screening and contactless temperature taking of all campers entering our studio.
• Summer camp groups will be limited to 10 students or less.
• Modified drop-off and pick-up process.
• Parents will not be permitted to stay once a student has been checked-in.
• Cloth face coverings must be worn by staff and by students at all times, when feasible (except if exempt per the county health order).
• Physical distancing of 6 feet from other people, avoiding congregating in groups.
• No sharing of food, drinks and utensils.
• Hand-washing and/or sanitizing with 60% alcohol solution often and frequently.
• All parents and students required to stay home if feeling sick.
• Cleaning of common surfaces in shared environments often and frequently.
• Modified programming and limited crafts, activities involving shared items.
• Snack break will be held outdoors to limit time spent indoors.
• Students will not be permitted to use drinking fountains.
• Campers must be able to independently open and maneuver all lunch and snack items.
• This process will continue to evolve and change as the needs of our staff and students change.

How will summer camp spaces be sanitized and kept clean?
Monart has implemented the following procedures in order to ensure optimal safety:
• Summer Camp staff will be doing routine midday, end of day and as needed cleanings.
• Buildings and Grounds Team will be cleaning and disinfecting the door handles, bathrooms and high-traffic areas throughout the day.
• High-touch points and common areas will be labeled and disinfected multiple times throughout the day by the summer camp staff.
• Limit shared objects (e.g., art supplies, fact sheets, games) whenever possible or they will be cleaned between uses.
